EMDR Therapy
EMDR Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma-informed therapy that helps the brain and nervous system process experiences that feel stuck, overwhelming, or unresolved.
Rather than focusing only on talking through events, EMDR supports your brain in doing what it naturally wants to do—integrate difficult memories so they no longer feel as intense or intrusive in the present. Many clients notice a greater sense of perspective, relief, and emotional flexibility over time.
In this practice, EMDR is offered with careful attention to pacing, consent, and nervous system readiness. Sessions are collaborative and grounded in relationship—you remain in control of what is explored and how quickly the work unfolds.
As an EMDRIA-certified therapist with advanced trauma training, I use EMDR in a way that prioritizes safety, stability, and long-term integration rather than pushing for rapid results.
