Feminist & Empowerment-Based Therapy
Feminist and empowerment-based therapy recognizes that emotional distress does not happen in a vacuum. Gender roles, power dynamics, cultural expectations, and systemic pressures all shape how we experience ourselves and our lives.
This approach centers your lived experience and honors the ways you’ve adapted, coped, and survived—often in environments that asked you to carry more than was fair or sustainable.
Rather than pathologizing understandable responses to stress, this work focuses on reclaiming agency, voice, and self-definition. Therapy becomes a space to examine internalized expectations, reconnect with your values, and make choices that feel more aligned and authentic.
My work is grounded in feminist clinical principles and trauma-informed care, supporting women in developing clarity, self-trust, and a stronger sense of personal authority—without pressure to perform, minimize, or explain themselves.
