Common Questions About Therapy
-
Therapy sessions are designed to be a supportive, thoughtful, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and honestly. Our work is collaborative and paced with care. Together, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, identify patterns or concerns that feel important, and work toward goals that support healing, clarity, and alignment.
I integrate evidence-based approaches while remaining responsive to your unique experiences, values, and needs. You can expect a balance of insight, practical tools, and relational support.

tandard therapy sessions are 53 minutes in length. This allows time for meaningful exploration without feeling rushed.
Session frequency varies depending on your needs, goals, and current level of support. Many clients begin with weekly sessions, though this may shift over time. We will discuss and adjust your schedule collaboratively to best support your therapeutic process.

Therapy can be helpful if you’re navigating emotional distress, relationship challenges, trauma, life transitions, or simply feeling misaligned or overwhelmed. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy.
If you’re unsure whether therapy is a good fit, I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation. This gives us space to talk through your concerns, answer questions, and determine whether working together feels aligned. Choosing therapy is a personal decision, and you’re supported in taking that step at your own pace.

Therapy is a licensed clinical service focused on mental health, emotional wellbeing, and healing. It may include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health concerns and is governed by ethical and legal standards.
Life coaching is non-clinical and goal-focused, supporting areas such as personal growth, decision-making, and accountability without diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions.
If you are unsure which service is the best fit, we can discuss this during a consultation and determine the most appropriate support for your needs.
